A leather headboard is a great way to add a special touch to your bedroom as it's usually the center of attention in the room. There are many different options to choose from when shopping around for a leather headboard and this guide will discuss a few different options I've recently seen on the market.
Of course everyone has a different budget, so I'll discuss a few different options. The first option is on the average side if you're looking for a quality piece of furniture. Crate and Barrel exclusively sells the Archer Leather Headboard.
Head Boards
This headboard can be purchased between 9.00 and ,099.00 (depending on the size). This bed has been receiving great ratings and customer reviews. It's inspired by a 1940's Hollywood slipper chair. The headboard has button-tufted detailing and combines subtle wings. At this price, expect it to be durable as it comes with a protective coating to protect the leather. It's made in a deep brown color and also has caramel accents at the seams, which provides more of a vintage look.
The next option is a great option if you're on a tighter budget. JC Penney is offering the Nash Bonded Leather Head Board for 9.00 to 9.00 (depending on size). They have a nice selection in this price range as well.
This board has a great look as it's made with a beautiful arch. This graceful headboard is covered with bonded-leather which combines polyurethane, polyester/cotton materials. The protection allows for the headboard to withstand spills, sunlight and anything else that may cause damage. Inside the headboard are layers of polyester foam padding to make it extremely comfortable, so feel free to lean back!
Horchow.com has a great selection of quality furniture. I still don't consider this extremely high-end, but it's a quality you'll be very happy with and will last a long time. If you're looking for a deep brown leather headboard, they have a great product.
The Old Hickory Tannery Headboard costs between ,399.00 and ,799.00 (depending on size). This elegant board has a maple frame and tufted brown leather. The frame has a hand-rubbed antique looking mahogany rubbed finish and the leather is covered with a material that's similar to heavy muslin. This leather headboard can last a lifetime!
These are some of my favorite leather boards I've recently come across. Prices and quality vary, but for the price ranges mentioned above these headboards are some of the best around.
