Some of these beds rotated, and quite a few also had a built in vibrator which enabled the actors to enjoy an all-over body massage while on camera.

Tawdry

Unfortunately, the round mattress began to be almost synonymous with certain types of sleazy movies and also was found in cheap motels which catered to a rather tawdry crowd.
